Online Counselling for Women and Mums Who Feel Overwhelmed, Stuck or Unsure of Who They Are
A warm, compassionate and non-judgemental online counselling space where you can explore what you're experiencing, make sense of your feelings and begin to move towards the life you want to live.
You Don’t Have to Have Everything Figured Out
You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck. Perhaps you’ve lost confidence in yourself, you’re questioning who you are, or life and relationships feel more difficult than they used to.
You may be navigating changes in your family, struggling with motherhood or co-parenting, or simply know that something doesn’t feel right.
Whatever has brought you here, counselling can offer you space to slow down, explore what’s happening and begin to understand what you need.
Online Counselling for Women and Mums
Hello I’m Sara, a person-centred counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), based in North Yorkshire. I support women experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, life changes and family challenges.
I have a particular interest in supporting mums whose children live primarily with their other parent, as well as mums navigating difficult co-parenting arrangements, separation, mum guilt and complex family relationships.
A person-centred approach:
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do or offer advice, but to listen with empathy, acceptance and understanding, helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
My hope is that our sessions offer you a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted as you are.
Finding the Right Counsellor For You
Choosing a counsellor is personal. It’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you’re talking to and that the relationship feels right for you.
That’s why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. It’s a chance for us to talk briefly about what you’re looking for, and for you to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
There’s no obligation to book a sessions afterwards.
A little hello from me
Choosing a counsellor can feel daunting, so I’ve made this short video to give you a chance to see and hear a little from me before deciding whether I might be the right counsellor for you.
